Grievance Procedures

Employees need to know how and with whom they should raise any workplace grievance. Used properly, a grievance procedure can help to defuse difficult situations in the workplace before they turn into disputes.

The ACAS Code of Practice on disciplinary and grievance procedures provides clear guidance for employers on the operation of a grievance procedure.
