Stamp Duty Holiday to End 31 December 2009*

At present homebuyers do not have to pay Stamp Duty on properties costing up to £175,000. However, after 31 December 2009 the duty will again apply to properties above £125,000.
If you find a property that you feel suits your requirements it is important to move quickly to try and take advantage of the Stamp Duty Holiday.
VAT Increase*
From 31 December 2009 the rate of VAT will return to 17.5% from the current rate of 15%.
