Season 5, Episode 8: This is our “listen and learn” season of podcasts. The ELiYP team tell a story, week by week, about a situation which the team has encountered. The team then discuss the law relating to that situation. One story told week by week.
In this podcast, Simon, Jack and Duncan recap the previous season and give their respective views as to whether the employer was correct in its actions against Bruce.
Despite the fact that Si tries to keep the team on track, Jack and Dunc get sidetracked with chatter about Bobo Balde, Django Unchained and an anonymous complaint received about a certain Lawyer of the Year which makes Simon go “hulk”.
This podcast episode also answers the question as to whether or not Duncan is a human calculator. He’s not. The correct answer to the question about two weeks’ wages on a £20k salary should have been £769.23.
Listen. Learn. Enjoy. We’ll see you again in 2020.
