Blackadders' Dragons' Glen Quiz Night!

Our Blackadders Dragons Glen team managed to raise over £1k for the charity Children 1st at their pub quiz last night at The Fort Bar in Broughty Ferry.

Blackadders to merge with Plenderleath Runcie

The team consisting of our 1st & 2nd-year trainees are participating in the Dragons Glen Challenge. They had to pitch a business idea to a panel of "Dragons" in return for an investment of £500 and mentoring from their "Dragon" Susan McFadyen. The team have five months to turn their investment into £5,000 or more to help support vulnerable children. They have created a Culinary Calendar with 15 recipes (15-month calendar) ranging from Slow Cooked Beef to Crème Brûlée. The recipes for the calendar were provided by eateries across Tayside and Fife, which have all sponsored a page. This latest event which also included a raffle and an auction was organised to help them get closer to their £5K target.

Pub quiz winners were "The Bright Sparks" - apparently they chose that name because one of them was carrying a lightbulb in their bag! Say Watt now?

If you would like to purchase the Culinary Calendar you can do so online or you can simply donate.
