On 24th to 26th of June, Forthill Sports Club will once again play host to the annual Dundee Beer Festival, organised by Dundee Round Table. All profits from this go to local charities, and this year the main benefactor will be The Archie Foundation. Each year Dundee Beer Festival raises £1,000’s of pounds for local charities, with the Dundee Carers being the main benefactor last year. This year it is hoped toraise even more!
Sponsorship is key to the beer festival being able to raise so much for charity, and one of the main sponsorship packages was snapped up by Blackadders.
Keen to be part of this years festival, Scott Williamson, Chairman and Partner said Blackadders are delighted to have secured this deal, which will see their logo being etched on every pint glass given to people attending the festival. Speaking to Round Table 330 Chairman Martin Henderson, Scott said "we recognise the great work that Dundee Round Table does raising money for local charities. Helping out by sponsoring the glasses at this years beer festival on the weekend before the Oor Wullie Bucket Trail appeal launches is a great time for Blackadders to show our support for such a great cause in the city."
Tickets for the beer festival are available online, and when bought in advance they are 20% cheaper than they will be at the door. Get to www.thedundeebeerfestival.co.uk to secure your tickets today.
