Our second year trainees took part in this year's Dragon Glens Challenge where they had to pitch a business idea to a panel of Dragons in return for an investment of £500 and turn that into £5000 for Children 1st.
The trainees cme up with a P-Arty idea (art jamming) and spent 5 months raising as much money as possible through their P-Arty idea, bake sales and pub quizzes. All their hard work paid off and they managed to beat their target and raise a whopping £5,278.23 for Children 1st. The team also won the "Future Promise Award" for their P-Arty idea at the Dragons Glen Awards.
& to their Dragon mentor Blackadders Partner Susan McFadyen.
