Blackadders Employment Partner Donna Reynolds hosted her fifth successful Blackadders 'We Love Business' Breakfast Club in Edinburgh. This latest one featured guest speaker Comedian Fred MacAulay.
Fred presented the very funny and eventful 'MacAulay and Co.' on BBC Radio Scotland for almost 18 years and hosted programmes for BBC Scotland such as the talk show 'McCoist and MacAulay'. On national BBC Television he has been a panellist on shows including 'Mock the Week', 'QI' and 'Have I Got News For You'.
At yesterday's 'We Love Business Breakfast Club' Fred talked about his life and his late career change from working as an Accountant to Comedian as well as answering questions from the audience.
One attendee commented: "When Fred spoke about difficult life changes it really resonated with me. It made me think about how a difficult change can be turned in to a positive one. It left me feeling hopeful and as if I was meant to be there to listen to Fred’s talk to help me with the changes I’m facing in my life."
Funds raised from the breakfast seminar will be donated to Fred's chosen charity - JDRF, the type 1 diabetes charity.
