Blackadders were delighted to once again sponsor the Thainstone Spectacular Show on Friday 25th of August 2018. The Thainstone Spectacular is a show and sale of store cattle and weaned calves which take place every August. As one of the leading show and sales in the Scottish agricultural calendar, the Spectacular provides the ideal opportunity for buyers from all over the UK to view the high standard of livestock exhibited in the North East. Previous animals bought out of the event have gone on to win championships such as the Countryside Live Show.

The judging kicked off at 9:20 am followed by the sale at 2 pm. The event was attended by our Rural Land & Business Partner Ellen Eunson, Associate Solicitor Hazel Anderson and Trainee Solicitor Susan Henretty. Ellen commented that: "We were delighted to sponsor such a prestigious event and showcase of excellent livestock. The event was well attended with high prices achieved at the sale from buyers nationwide. It is important that we support the industry during these challenging and uncertain times".
