Blackadders Solicitors announces the appointment of Susan McFadyen as a director in the firm’s corporate and commercial team.  Having worked as a partner in a large Edinburgh law firm for several years, Susan will be based primarily at Blackadders’ Dundee office, while also serving business clients from the firm’s offices in Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Perth.

Speaking about the appointment, Campbell Clark, who heads Blackadders’ Business Services Group, said “Susan joins us at a fantastic time, when the firm is successfully implementing its growth strategy.  We want to maintain and enhance our reputation for first class advice to business clients on corporate transactional and commercial matters.  Susan’s impressive credentials will certainly help us to do that.  Having worked with Susan on transactions over the years, I know that clients will value her confident, commercial approach to business as much as her technical expertise.”

Susan is looking forward to working with Blackadders’ established clients, as well as developing the firm’s corporate client base.  “I am already impressed by the profile of work being undertaken by Blackadders, from young technology companies with ambitious international growth plans, to large, established corporates acquiring significant businesses”, she said.  “I will enjoy helping these clients achieve their objectives and playing my part in developing Blackadders’ corporate client base across Scotland.”
