Blackadders is extremely proud that two of our private client solicitors, Rachael Delaney and Robyn Lee, gained top marks in the STEP Advanced Certificate in Trusts: Law & Practice (Scotland). We encourage all private client lawyers to complete the STEP Diploma in Trusts and Estates – Scotland and provide an environment where continuous development can take place so our solicitors and staff can meet the changing demands and priorities of the firm and our clients.
The STEP qualification is the most comprehensive and relevant qualification in the trusts and estates field. It provides our clients with assurance that they are receiving advice from highly qualified solicitors. Ongoing membership of STEP also ensures that our solicitors keep up to date with developments and changes in the law by receiving weekly email alerts and monthly journals as well as invitations to CPD events.
Rachael Delaney commented: “Completing the STEP Diploma in Trusts and Estates has been a personal goal since I began my career in Private Client. This qualification ensures that I give all clients the best possible service with a solid foundation of knowledge. I have been lucky to be part of a supportive and accommodating firm, who have promoted my personal development, and given me the tools I needed to undertake this qualification.”
Asked about the award Robyn Lee said “The support offered by Blackadders in ensuring my continued personal and professional development has been invaluable; the firm’s focus on learning and improvement is clearly evident. As I look ahead to my next Certificate in what can safely be described as unprecedented times, I look forward to engaging further with STEP and the many opportunities it has to offer.”
