Solicitor, Dispute Resolution
Rebecca is a Solicitor within the Blackadders Dispute Resolution team and has worked within litigation throughout her specialised traineeship and post-qualification. Appearing regularly in the Sheriff Court, Sheriff Appeal Court and at tribunals across Scotland, Rebecca is instructed in a range of civil disputes.
Rebecca advises on a range of civil litigation matters including personal and corporate insolvency, private and commercial leasing disputes, secured and unsecured debt-recovery amongst other topics. She has been instructed in relation to cross-border and foreign jurisdiction disputes and has advised public bodies and large commercial clients.
- Rebecca has a dual-qualifying, Scots and English law degree from the University of Dundee and latterly studied her Diploma in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Aberdeen.
- Rebecca is involved in a consultation group for new lawyers with the Law Society of Scotland and judges on the Donald Dewar Memorial Debating panel, in a secondary-school debating competition.
