Dale is the Director of Private Client Services at Blackadders. He has 20 years of experience in Private Client work, and specialises in executry and trust matters, having dealt with many complex cases over the years, including estates with a foreign element work, and those with complex tax issues to be addressed.
For the individual, he specialises in wills and tax planning. Dale is also qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales, and can therefore advise clients with cross-border issues.
As Director of Private Client Services, he draws on his vast experience to streamline the administration of trusts and executry estates.
Dale initially studied Mathematics at the University of Aberdeen before undertaking an MSc in Operational Research at the University of Sussex. He was an operational research analyst in London with the British Rail Policy Unit and APACS (UK bank clearing system), before taking up a career in law, returning to Aberdeen to complete the Diploma in Legal Practice, since when he has specialised in Private Client work.
Dale has been a tutor on the Diploma in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Edinburgh since 2002, and is now in his sixth year as Senior Tutor, planning and directing the Private Client course. He is also the external examiner for the Diploma in Professional Legal Practice, Private Client course, at the University of Dundee.
